Free breakfast event in Tewkesbury

5:00pm Wednesday 8th February 2012

TEWKESBURY businesses are invited to a free breakfast event offering advice and tips on how to save money through saving energy.

The interactive workshop, being organised by Tewkesbury Borough Council and the Carbon Trust, will be held on Tuesday, February 21, from 7.30am to 10.30am.

Individual consultations, developing energy saving action plans and networking are all on the agenda and attendees will leave the session being able to manage and monitor energy use, identify money saving opportunities and start making a difference straight away.

There are only 50 places available so businesses are encouraged to book without delay.

Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Lead Member for Clean and Green Environment, Coun Jim Mason, said: “We are committed to supporting local businesses in a variety of ways. This free event will not only help our local businesses to save money but it will also help to make Tewkesbury Borough even more environmentally friendly.

“I really encourage businesses to take up this opportunity – it really is one not to miss.”

To reserve a place or for more information, please contact Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Economic Development Officer Katie Power on 01684 272249 or email Katie.power@tewkesbury.gov.uk.
