Tewkesbury golfers on the ball for Hospice

TEWKESBURY golfers have raised more than £1,000 for Worcestershire’s St Richard’s Hospice.
Peter White, the Puckrup Hall Golf Club Seniors’ Captain for 2011, said he was delighted members had been able to generously support such a worthy cause as St. Richard’s Hospice, during his period of office.
Tricia Cavell, St Richard’s Fundraising Director added: “This is a wonderfully generous donation from the golfers and on behalf of our patients and families we are very grateful for their support.”
St Richard’s Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families. Each year the hospice team supports over 2,200 patients and family members in Worcestershire.
