Glass art exhibition to raise funds for mayor's charities

AN exhibition of contemporary glass art by local designer, Lezli Lawrence, has been scheduled to take place at Tewkesbury Town Hall in aid of the mayor’s charities.
The event, on Friday, August 13, is for invited guests only and any profits from the sale of art work will be put towards the mayor’s, Coun Geoff Pope, chosen charities for this year.
These are the 3rd Tewkesbury Beaver Scouts, the 1st Tewkesbury Boys Brigade, Mitton Manor Playgroup, Tewkesbury Battle Field Society, Parkinson’s UK (Cheltenham branch), and The Royal British Legion (Tewkesbury branch).
The exhibition will remain open on the following day Saturday, August 14, from 9.00am to 5.00pm, for public viewing, with free admission.
